This colt has a unique double cross of the world renowned Ramzes through Romedio and "Sire of the Century" Ramiro.

Roosendaal Bfd is competing succesfully in Preliminary EA level dressage and has already clocked up many places. He finds the work at this level easy and is gradually building strength to compete at higher grades.

He impresses every one with his easy and relaxed behaviour standing quietly at the float for hours at a time.

Licensed and Performance tested German Hannovarian of Holsteiner bloodlines. Rabino has sired horses that have competed at International level in dressage and at Olympic level in showjumping. Rabino is a son of "Stallion of the century" Ramiro and is from a mare carrying the famed Cor de la Bryere blood via his champion performance and breeding son Calypso II.

Dam: Rosenthal bfd one of our top mares by the imported son of Rigoletto, Romedio. A site champion as a foal, yearling and 2yo and with a huge score in his 100 day test Romedio has left a lasting legacy in Australia as a sire of stallions and broodmares (also in Europe).  He is now represented in the third and fourth generations of riding and breeding horses.

Roosendaal has had a short season of showjumping as a 5 year old. As he is only slowly reaching his full strength he hasn't been pushed too hard and most of the work has been on the flat.

However he shows great talent and scope in his jump showing talent around courses up to 1.05m. It is expected that he will do some more courses in the coming season.

 

Roosendaal Bfd stands at the stud farm of David and Dolly Joyce. Dolly and David have a breeding program in place that includes some of the finest thoroughbred jumping lines available in the world. The first offspring of Roosendaal Bfd can be seen and further top quality foals are expected next year.
